Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who is supporting former Gov. Phil Bredesen’s campaign for the U.S. Senate, used her airtime Wednesday morning to stump for immigration reform rather than addressing the tragic death of Mollie Tibbetts.
Tibbetts, who had been missing for 34 days, was found dead in an Iowa cornfield after her murderer, an illegal alien, led police officers to the scene of the crime.
On Wednesday morning, Warren appeared on CNN to discuss the issue, calling the Tibbets tragedy “hard, not only for the family, but for the people in her community and people throughout Iowa.” The Democrat then immediately turned her attention to family separations at the border, lamenting over the personal encounters she had with mothers who had been separated from their children.
“But one of the things we have to remember is we need an immigration system that is effective, that focuses on where real problems are. Last month, I went down to the border and I saw where children have been taken away from their mothers,” she said, saying she had personally visited with some of the parents.
“There was no plan for how they would be reunified with their children. I think we need immigration laws that focus on people who pose a real threat, and I don’t think mamas and babies are the place that we should be spending our resources,” the Massachusetts senator remarked.
Around the same time, The White House released a statement saying “the Tibbetts family has been permanently separated,” accompanied by a video of parents whose children have been killed by illegal aliens.
Later reports revealed that Tibbetts’ killer, Christhian Bahena-Rivera used a stolen ID to find work in the U.S. and get past the federal government’s E-verify system. He also lived in an area of Iowa encircled by by sanctuary cities, according to Breitbart News.
Bahena-Rivera found work in Iowa on Yarrabee farms, whose owner told the Des Moines Register that he was an “employee in good standing.”
Demonrats have no compassion for anyone but themselves. It’s all about identity politics and power; gaining and retaining power. Compassion doesn’t enter into it except as a political “talking point.”
Virtually every major metropolitan area in the USA has been ruled by Demonrats for over 50 years and the cities continue to be breeding grounds for violence, filth, misery and lawlessness. Our own Memphis is ranked as the second most violent city in the country, barely above Detroit. That’s no accident, it is by design.
There’s is an ideology of anger over perceived injustices based on identity, regardless of whether or not said “injustices” are wholly fabricated or have the barest kernel of validity. Identity politics is, by definition, divisive and precludes negotiating a middle ground. Again, that’s no accident. Review the voting records of national, state, and local politicians and you will discover the Republicans have always been the party of compromise, whereas the Demonrats vote as a block. When you represent an electorate that has been indoctrinated, rationality is the enemy. The only “win-win” in Demonrat lexicon is “I win, you lose.”
[…] “Phil Bredesen-Supporting Elizabeth Warren Shows No Compassion for Iowa Girl Murdered by Illeg… […]
Elizabeth Warren is supporting Phil Bredesen’s campaign? Say no more.
She is a vile piece of trash. She is a liberal. But, I repeat myself.
Phil Bredesen should move to Antioch for a couple months and see what he thinks of illegals then.
